We've got a new song to rock to in 2016!

Rock band Overload took to Facebook on Wednesday to share the official video of their latest single Lahore.

Shot in Lahore, band members -- including vocalist and drummer Farhad Humayun and dhol player Nasir Sain -- toured the walled city in order to pay tribute to the cultural hub of Pakistan.

Brunch surprise: Uplifting spirits, ‘Overload’ style

The lyrics of the song portray the irony of our current political system where historical monuments are being sacrificed in the name of infrastructural development, Lahore's famous Chauburji being the latest victim.

The significant structure of the Mughal era also served as the backdrop for some of the shots.

The song delivers a strong message to preserve "the city of gardens, food, thought, literature, art and architecture" with these words Lahore Jagayeinge Hum, Bachainge Hum, Uthayeinge Qadam!

All in all, Overload remained true to their raw sound and this chic rickshaw ride would make one want to plan a trip to Lahore stat!
