Busted: Suspected terrorist arrested in Ghizer
Accused had been declared an absconder in 2009 and had a bounty of Rs1 million

A high-profile suspected terrorist was arrested in Ghizer Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan on Monday. An official of Ghizer police said, “The accused is identified as Bin Yameen and he was arrested during a raid at a house.” He added, “We believe the suspect was involved in the assassination of G-B Legislative Assembly’s former deputy speaker Asad Zaidi in 2009.” The official said the accused had been declared an absconder in 2009 and had a bounty of Rs1 million. Cases against the accused had already been registered.
