Cylinder Explosion: Three dead, one injured in Hayatabad

The explosion also caused damage to the house

PESHAWAR:
At least three members of a family died while another was injured when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in Hayatabad on Saturday. Rescue 1122 Spokesperson Bilal Faizi told The Express Tribune the incident occurred at a house in Phase I, Hayatabad. “Three members of a family, including a child, died,” he said. The deceased have been identified as Mansoor, his wife Mehnaz and a five-year-old Ibrahim. Rescue teams shifted their remains to Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH) for autopsy. “Another child, Kiran, sustained injuries and was also rushed to KTH,” Faizi said. “She is in stable condition.” The explosion also caused damage to the house.
