SEHWAN SHARIF: A large number of people staged a demonstration outside Sehwan Sharif Press Club and district Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) office on Saturday. The citizens protested against the low gas pressure problem they have been facing during the day time since the last three months. The protesters first reached the district SSGC and then marched to the local press club. They shouted slogans against officials responsible for low gas pressure in their areas. The men, who led the protesters, said that the residents of Sehwan are deprived of basic necessities, even though it produces oil and gas worth billions of rupees. The protesters demanded high authorities to provide the required gas pressure or else they will hold another protest next week.
