Reality TV star asks fans to be patient as massive downloads of her new emoji app affects the entire store.

After breaking the internet, reality TV star Kim Kardashian has now broken Apple's App Store!

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star took to Twitter to ask her fans to be patient after the App Store crashed as there were "massive downloads"of her new emoji app called Kimoji.

She apologised to Apple for the inconvenience with her tweet: "Apple, I'm so sorry I broke your App Store."


"I can't believe so many people downloaded my KIMOJI app that it affected the entire app store!" she added.

She also assured her fans that her tech team is working hard to resolve the issues and the app would be available for download again soon.

"We worked so hard on this app and we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!"


"My Kimoji app will be up and running again soon! They are also working on fixing the search so you can easily find it," she said.

She also shared how her family is excited to use these new series of emojis.


Kimojis include a range of everyday items that are commonly associated with Kim. It includes the infamous ‘belfie’ (backwards selfie), a hand taking a selfie and the emblazoned 'married'  leather jacket which she wore in an Instagram post with husband Kanye West following their wedding last year.

The famous ‘crying face’ that was a reaction to the failure of her second marriage to Kris Humphries on the reality show Kourtney and Kim Take New York is also included. Kim's crying face became the subject of many memes for a long time.

However, this is not the first time that the 35-year-old reality TV star has launched a tech venture. The 'Kim Kardashian: Hollywood' game in 2014 was also a huge success. It acquired $1.6million just in the first few days, reports The Independent.

Apart from Kim, other members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie also released their individual apps recently.
