Annual Parents’ Day: Asif addresses fellow Abdalians
Operation Zarb-e-Azb successfully heading towards the complete elimination of terrorism, Asif says
HASANABDAL:
Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Monday said operation Zarb-e-Azb was successfully heading towards the complete elimination of terrorism. “There is no doubt that our enemy is on the retreat and have faced great losses,” he said while addressing the Annual Parents’ Day function at Cadet College Hasanabdal (CCH). Asif, who is also ‘Abdalian’, shared some memories of his three-year stay in the college. He said as many as 16 Abdalians had received Sitara-e-Jurrat. He also said all the financial needs of the college would be met by the centre and Pubjab. CCH Principal Major-General (retd) Najeeb Tariq presented the college’s annual report and performance of the cadets. Cadets also displayed their expertise in physical training, gymnastics, horse-riding, tent-pegging and flying indigenously developed remote controlled planes.
