Improved Transport; Three more trains to be upgraded

LAHORE: Pakistan Railways (PR) has decided to upgrade three more trains during the current financial year. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting presided over by Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique and held at the PR headquarters on Monday. Business Express, Karachi Express and Pakistan Express trains will be upgraded in a step-wise approach with state-of-the-art facilities for the passengers. The meeting was informed that income from the Business Express had increased from Rs1 million to Rs2.23 million per day after the transfer of its management control to the PR from the private sector.
