BAHAWALPUR:

Bahawalpur Commissioner Saqib Zafar has directed the officials concerned to identify dangerous buildings in the division.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the divisional technical committee on Saturday.  Zafar said a survey should immediately be conducted in the division to identify such buildings and a plan formulated to deal with them. He said separate lists should be compiled for schools, health facilities and residential buildings unfit for use. The commissioner said 36 such buildings had already been identified in the division. He said the divisional technical committee should suggest a course of action for all buildings identified as dangerous.
