Fake appointments: '22 officers reinstated after verification'

Out of the 56 taluka officers in Sindh, who were suspended for their failure to get the records checked, 22 have been reinstated after they had their records verified, said local government housing and town planning secretary Imran Atta Soomro. "National Accountability Bureau, anti-corruption and our department are conducting inquires against fake appointments," said Soomro, adding that so far 7,000 bogus employees have been fired from Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
