SUKKUR: All educational institutes must have armed security guards, said deputy commissioner Shahzad Fazal Abbasi. He was addressing a meeting at his office on Thursday to review security measures. He asked the heads of educational institutes (both public and private) to ensure strict security measures. All schools of the district should ensure proper security measures, he claimed. Security-related lectures must also be delivered in all the institutes, he said, adding that all the institutes must have a single entry and exit point. All the institutes must have eight-foot high boundary wall, CCTV cameras, barriers and security guards, he claimed. The institutes must also cooperate with security agencies and the police, he added.
