Celebrations: Aurat Foundation marks silver jubilee
Aurat Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary on Friday.

Aurat Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary on Friday. On the occasion, resident director of the foundation, Mehnaz Rehman, stressed the need to restore the 1973 constitution in totality.
National Commission on Women Status chairperson Anis Haroon, who is one of the founding members of Aurat Foundation, said that the struggle initiated 25 years ago needs to be spearheaded for establishment of equity and equality in the society. The ceremony was attended by several activists.
