A man who had allegedly killed his brother and sister in 2013 was arrested in Haripur on Sunday. An official of Haripur police said former secretary of Pind Kamal union council, Safeer Ahmed, had killed his siblings over a property dispute. “The accused had gone into hiding for the past three years,” he said. “The police received an intelligence tip-off about his whereabouts.” As a result, a raid was conducted on his hideout and Safeer was taken into custody. “While Safeer was on the run, the court confiscated his property and he was sacked from his job,” he added.
