Owing to the increasing weight of the average person, cancer is spreading throughout the world
SUKKUR:
Cancer is a fatal disease, said the director of Larkana Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, Dr Siraj Ahmed Abbasi, at a one-day seminar on breast cancer awareness at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) in Khairpur. He pointed out that the use of tobacco, alcohol, junk food and low-quality carbonated drinks are the main causes of cancer. Dr Abbasi said the number of breast cancer cases is increasing with each passing day and it is necessary for women to go for regular medical checkups and mammograms. “Owing to the increasing weight of the average person, cancer is spreading throughout the world,” he said.
