Recovery: Multan efforts hailed by NAB
He said NAB filed 25 references while inquiries in 30 mega scams were in progress

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Director General Tariq Mehmood Nadeem said the Multan division responded to 1,400 complaints of corruption and recovered Rs160 million during the last nine months. He was addressing a prize distribution ceremony at the Multan Tea House on Wednesday. He said NAB filed 25 references while inquiries in 30 mega scams were in progress. He also mentioned that Rs920 million scam of Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Lahore campus was in progress. BZU Vice Chancellor Dr Tahir Ameen also spoke and appreciated performance of NAB Multan Office. He maintained that rule of law, continuity of democratic process, promotion of tolerance and provision of justice were of vital importance in any society.
