Community-Driven Development: National conference concludes
UNDP resident representative in Pakistan, was the guest of honour at the session
ISLAMABAD:
A two-day national conference on community-driven development, jointly organised by the EU and Rural Support Programmes Network, concluded here on Tuesday. Adviser to the Prime Minister for Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz was chief guest, while Neil Buhne, UNDP resident representative in Pakistan, was the guest of honour at the session. RSPN Chairman Shoaib Sultan Khan said the conference aimed to sensitise the government, policymakers and stakeholders on the importance of community-driven development for bringing about real change.
