Business boundaries: SZABIST holds one-day conference

KARACHI: A National Research Conference on Management and Business (NRCMB) was organised by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (Szabist) at the Beach Luxury hotel. Breaking business boundaries and sharing solutions was the theme of the one-day conference. Fifty participants and 13 presenters from various fields attended it to discuss contemporary issues, practices, challenges and opportunities for the macro-economic outlook of Pakistan and insights from the integrated global economy under the tagline ‘sharing solutions’.  Szabist head of management sciences Dr Nadeem Syed spoke about a new phenomenon called the ‘Routine and fire fighting’ which he referred to as the routine work that organisations indulge in. The opening session of the NRCMB was attended by the sponsors, students, Szabist management and staff.
