KARACHI:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi raided a factory producing fake and unregistered veterinary drugs used to increase meat and milk production in animals, arresting four suspects and seizing a large quantity of materials.

Deputy Director Anti-Human Trafficking Mian Muhammad Ajmal, along with other officials, addressed a press conference and stated that the raid was conducted in the presence of DRAP officials at a factory located in Bhains Colony. During the operation, four suspects—Dr Salman, Younis, Kashif Shah Khan, and Imdad Shah—were arrested.

The suspects were involved in manufacturing and selling fake and unregistered 'Boston' injections for the past 10 years. Authorities recovered a large quantity of suspected drugs, syringes, packing materials, labeling equipment, a packing machine, and a mixing machine. The suspects confessed during interrogation to producing counterfeit injections.
