Adele rolling in the deep with £4million tax bill

LONDON: English singer and songwriter Adele, who returned from a 12-month hiatus this year with a new album 25, has a pending tax bill worth £4 million.

Despite being inactive last year, the singer is still paying off her tax bills, reports femalefirst.co.uki. The 27-year-old star was still earning royalties from her 2011 album 21 and her 2012 Bond song Skyfall, which is why her firm Melted Stone Ltd owes the huge sum in corporation tax, states Daily Mirror.



The Rolling In The Deep hitmaker has a net worth of £50 million and her latest record, which released in October, sold over 3 million copies in its first week.

Knowing her net worth, not sure if this new tax bill poses much threat to Adele or not.
