Disability rights: Walk held in Shabqadar
The walk began from TMA Hall and ended near Shabqadar Fort
SHABQADAR:
A walk was held in Shabqadar on Thursday to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was organised by PTI Special Persons Youth wing and PTI Youth wing, and attended by Shabqadar tehsil nazim and members of its tehsil council. The walk began from TMA Hall and ended near Shabqadar Fort. Later, an event was held at a private school in the area, which was addressed by tehsil nazim Zafar Ali Khan, among others. In his address, Zafar said, “We should account for the needs of people who are differently abled throughout the year.”
