At least three more bodies have been recovered on Thursday from the site where a passenger van had plunged into Chitral River a day earlier. Insiders familiar with the matter told The Express Tribune the remains of Ameer Hamza, Afzal and Abdul Hanan were found. All three of them were residents of Garam Chashma.

On Wednesday, three people were confirmed dead while seven others were missing. Initial reports revealed around 11 passengers were onboard. However, others believe as many as 20 people were travelling in the van.

Binat Bibi, the lone survivor of the crash and a resident of Garam Chashma, is in stable condition and has been discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile, Mairaj, a resident of Upper Dir, and two others are still missing. The van was travelling from Garam Chashma to Chitral city when it plunged into the river.
