Consumer Court: PIA sued for offloading petitioner
Muhammad Hasham told the court that he had bought a ticket for PIA’s flight 657 from Rawalpindi to Lahore
LAHORE:
A suit was filed in a consumer court on Wednesday against Pakistan International Airlines seeking Rs10,000,000 in damages for offloading the complainant despite having a confirmed seat. Muhammad Hasham told the court that he had bought a ticket for PIA’s flight 657 from Rawalpindi to Lahore but he had been offloaded to accommodate a PIA officer. He said when he refused to leave the aircraft, the PIA had humiliated him. He asked the court to direct the PIA to pay him damages.
