Leader of Bohra community awarded honorary degree

Chief of the Dawoodi Bohra community valued the work and dedication of the governor to promote education and research

Ameer Ali Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, leader of the Dawoodi Bohra community, was awarded an honorary degree of doctorate in literature by Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad on Tuesday.


The special convocation was organised by the University of Karachi (KU) at the Governor House, where Education Minister Nisar Khuhro, Adviser to Governor on Higher Education Wajahat Ali and many prominent members of the Bohra community were also in attendance.

Ebad, who is also a chancellor of KU, said he appreciated the university for encouraging and making Saifuddin a symbol of humanity.

In his address, the chief of the Dawoodi Bohra community valued the work and dedication of the governor to promote education and research. He also appreciated the work done for the betterment of KU.

Huzefa | 9 years ago | Reply He was not awarded a doctorate of literature, but a doctorate of letters. It is completely different. Also kindly correct the name. Please check your work before posting.
