HYDERABAD:


The bodies of two children and a woman were found in Makli graveyard near Abdullah Shah Ashabi's shrine on Tuesday.


The deceased, who have yet to be identified, appeared to be residents of an urban area from their clothes, according to Makli police station SHO Misri Khan Khoso.


The SHO said that the police have obtained their fingerprints, which will be sent to the National Database and Registration Authority for verification.


The bodies were taken to Civil Hospital, Thatta, for a postmortem. The doctors said that the victims were strangled to death.


The woman’s age is estimated to be approximately 35-years-old, the girl’s has been estimated at five-years-old and the boy’s at nine-years-old.


Meanwhile, the bodies were handed over to Edhi Foundation for the burial. The police said that no relatives had come to claim the bodies until the filing of this report.
