Official visit: Sindh Police lauded by home minister

Sial also visited the command and control centre’s media cell and reviewed their operations

KARACHI: The newly appointed Sindh home minister, Sohail Anwar Sial, visited Central Police Office (CPO) on Friday. He presided over a meeting and reviewed the overall law and order situation of the province especially the performance of the Sindh Police. He expressed satisfaction over the measures being adopted for the safety and security of the citizens. He also extended congratulations to the IGP and the Sindh Police for successfully closing the high-profile Safoora Goth case. Sial directed officials to further modernise the policing system and ensure the upgrade of the advanced intelligence collection system. He stressed the importance of adopting modern technology when investigating cases. Sial also visited the command and control centre’s media cell and reviewed their operations.
