Directives issued: JPMC told to install electricity meters

Sindh chief secretary Muhammad Siddique Memon instructed the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) authorities to get electricity meters installed in the residential and non-residential units that fall inside the premises of JPMC and submit a report within a month. 


He said this while reviewing the meeting on JPMC's progress and issues, with specific reference to JPMC's devolution to the Sindh government in accordance with the 18th Amendment.


At the meeting, JPMC executive director Prof Anisuddin Bhatti briefed him about the state of affairs of the hospital. Health, finance and services secretaries also attended the meeting.


The chief secretary said that cleanliness must be ensured in and outside the health facility.
