The joint investigation team sent on Wednesday its report regarding convicted target killer Saulat Mirza to the interior ministry, Express News reported.

Sources privy to the development said Mirza made additional revelations during the joint investigation team's interrogation of him.

Sources added the convicted worker has named three other men in various jails of the city to be investigated as well as they have key information.

A Joint Investigation Team on April 15  interrogated convicted Mirza. A nine-member JIT, including Sindh police as well as secret agencies’ officials, reached Mach Jail at around 12 noon and recorded fresh confessions of the condemned prisoner.

A-No.1 | 8 years ago | Reply Assuming that his confessions have some substance, they will need to be tested in court and the defence given a chance to cross examine. Meanwhile if he is executed his statement will be worthless. Seems like Mr Mirza and his legal team are on to something to keep him alive.
Burki | 8 years ago | Reply How many more additional revelations and fresh confessions he'll continue to make? Back in March, there was much hoopla about his earth shattering confessions, what happened to all of that? How many big fish was government able to net based on those confessions? Nothing but political drama.
