QUETTA: A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on Wednesday interrogated convicted target killer Saulat Mirza, whose execution on March 19 was stayed after he made startling revelations about MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s alleged involvement in the murder of Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC)’s managing director. A nine-member JIT, including Sindh police as well as secret agencies’ officials, reached Mach Jail at around 12 noon and recorded fresh confessions of the condemned prisoner. The JIT after completing its investigation will submit the report to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif within seven days, who will take the final decision on the case.
