Cheating the public: NAB K-P arrests two over Modaraba scam

Investigation revealed the accused lured investors into giving money in the garb of Islamic financing

PESHAWAR:

National Accountability Bureau Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (NAB K-P) arrested Naseem Gul and Kashif Zeb of Amazing Finance Company, Hangu, for cheating the public of millions of rupees on Wednesday.

Investigation revealed the accused lured investors into giving money to their fake firm in the garb of Islamic financing.

They had promised lucrative returns and then absconded with the money. NAB K-P has so far received claims of up to Rs30.42 million against them.

They will be produced before the accountability court to obtain their physical remand. Anyone who has a claim against Amazing Finance Company is requested to submit relevant documents with NAB K-P, PDA Complex in Hayatabad.
