Awareness programme: Seminar on workplace harassment held

KARACHI: Violence against women awareness is needed to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women, said Hina Zaib, the incharge of Protection Against Harassment of Women at Workplace Cell of Provincial Ombudsman, who held an awareness programme at Civil hospital on Wednesday. The event was attended by a number of employees ranging from doctors to paramedical staff. Zaib also said that the main objective of this seminar is to create awareness regarding harassment and according to an estimate, violence against women is increasing with every passing year.
