KARACHI:

The body of 80-year-old Allah Dino Bheel was dug out from its grave in Tando Bago within the Badin district.

Allah Dino's body was buried on Monday in the Bachal Shah Graveyard but was dug out and placed outside the graveyard on Thursday morning.

The incident took place just 20km away from Pangrio, where the infamous Bhuro Bheel incident took place when Bhuro's body was dug out from its grave in the first week of October. The two incidents are to protest the burial of Hindu bodies in a Muslim graveyard.

The body was later buried back in its grave by police officials from the Badin and Tando Muhammad Khan districts. This did not go down well with the residents of the area.

Sources informed The Express Tribune that announcements were made from mosques for people to shut their businesses and protest against the interference of the police. Amidst increased tension, the city remained shut almost throughout the day, with hundreds staging a sit-in protest against the police.

Does the land become Muslim or Kafir when someone is buried in it? Let Allah be the judge.

Just shows who rules Pakistan: Mobs. We claim to be Muslims but have lost our Humanity. Well done police by the way!
