LAHORE: The 5-year-old girl who was raped in Lahore in September was discharged from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital after a recovery period of 29 days, Express News reported.
On September 13, the child was found outside the hospital at around 8:00 pm, a day after she went missing from a low-income neighbourhood in the city. Doctors had said that she was raped several times.
Police still have no clue who carried out the attack despite detaining several suspects and releasing most of them after questioning, a law enforcement official said.
Five suspects in the Lahore rape case were released on October 2 after a polygraph test was done.
A few minutes of closed-circuit video which was released to the media earlier showed two men, separately and at different times, carrying the child outside the hospital. The police had concluded that the man in the video who had first dropped off the child outside the Medical Superintendent’s office is the main accused.
The Superintendent Police had said that the earlier footage showed the child with the men before and after the incident. The video during those times shows a woman named Zohra Bibi taking the victim to the children’s ward. The security guard, seen in the later part of the footage released earlier, took the victim to the police post and then to the main emergency ward.
Zohra Bibi, who was there to get her own daughter treated at the hospital, had found the unattended but conscious girl outside and had brought her in.
Rights campaigners staged protest rallies across Pakistan on September 15 against the rape of the five-year-old girl.

i guess she would never get justice. Shame on the police and responsible.
Wake up Pakistan and India. Rape has been happening for a long time. Both countries should work on this together. I pray to Allah that the people who did this to the little girl die a horrid death. These people should be sentenced to death on live t.v. Well done to India for the death sentence of the four men who raped the student on the bus.

The guys who did this are evil. What goes around comes around. Hope the little girl is going to be fine, oh... I am sorry , how is she going to be fine. She was abused serval times, she is only five. She will have to live with this forever. Why? Allah why? ... Just pray for this angel that she will be strong and healthy.
@Thor: during the 90s a girl was raped in Afghanistan by a influential guy. The victims father went to imam of the mosque and asked for justice. The Imam went with some guys and next day the rapist was hanging upside down on the street. That Masjid Imams name was Mulla Mohd Umar now he is the leader of Afghan Taliban. Our police should stop this nonsense otherwise they'll become worse than Taliban.

Police is always clueless no matter what. If by chance they had nabbed the criminal, he would be released from the court. The law of jungle is better than the law of this country.
Media has a responsibility to ensure that they report with honesty and stop making Breaking News of reports that have nothing to do with the truth. An incident happened and yes the culprits should be brought to justice. After reading this an opportunist will think he will get away with this kind of crime. Its easy to report that police are clueless but it is difficult to find reasons, as to why they are still clueless. Media should report responsibly.

The culprits should be caught. How can the police say they have not been able to nab the culprits? Set a trap,and the culprits will be caught.
Such videos shouldn't be released till the investigation is completed. Our media starts racing with each other to release it. In his way we let culprit to prepare for upcoming actions of police.

If you cannot find the culprit, I wonder how will you find 4 male adult witnesses to prosecute the culprit.
Media should build more pressure, it always helps the police to investigate faster, magically.
