Targeted: Peace committee member shot dead

MINGORA: A member of a local peace committee was gunned down on Tuesday in Sandheri, Kabal tehsil, Swat.

Unidentified gunmen reportedly opened fire at Shahi Rehman, son of Inayatur Rehman, in the jurisdiction of Kanju police station after he had left his house to offer prayers. Rehman’s body was later recovered from a nearby orchard and was shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital for autopsy.
