The independent candidates managed to secure 28 seats in the national assembly.

Considering the violence, clashes and rigging on May 11, elections were terminated in two constituencies and postponed in one constituency. While elections were held in other constituencies, results were withheld in two constituencies and re-polling would be conducted in some polling station of six constituencies. The independent candidates managed to secure 28 seats in the national assembly.

The results can be seen on the ECP website.

These results are officially announced by ECP and are present on its website. "Unofficial" tag is a story of past. Results are first declared by ROs as unofficial. Then these are evaluated by ECP and after objections and rectifications in few days, are declared as official results.

When the entire world is praising the work of ECP , I may be the only person who raise doubt about the sanctity of the election . The deniel of Musarraf candidature to psrticippate in tjhe election is the key stand of my opinion . Now Nawaz Sharif is saying that without the support of army it would be not possible to improve relation with India while the mandate is in fevour of it, means the ECP has cut the important link of this mandate under the pressure of existing NRO judges .....?
