Fair selections: SMIU to prioritise merit in choosing faculty

Candidates for the post of professors and associate professors to be chosen only after advertising vacant positions

KARACHI:

Sindh Madressatul Islam University (SMIU) decided that all faculty members would be chosen on the basis of merit, during a meeting on Saturday.

Candidates for the post of professors and associate professors will be chosen only after advertising the vacant positions. Members of the board also approved the schedule to conduct interviews for the posts of additional registrar, finance deputy director, SMIU Model School (Boys) and SMIU Model School (Girls) headmasters.
