Kasab execution: TTP ‘shocked’, LeT says will ‘inspire’ more attacks

ISLAMABAD: The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) expressed shock over the execution of Ajmal Kasab on Wednesday, the lone surviving gunman of the Mumbai attacks, and the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) said he was a hero and would “inspire” more attacks.

“He was a hero and will inspire other fighters to follow his path,” the commander of Lashkar-e-Taiba told Reuters by telephone from an undisclosed location.

The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan expressed shock over India’s execution of the lone survivor of an attack that killed 166 people in a rampage through the financial capital Mumbai in 2008.

“There is no doubt that it’s very shocking news and a big loss that a Muslim has been hanged on Indian soil,” Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan told Reuters.

The sole surviving gunman from the 2008 Mumbai attacks was executed on Wednesday, nearly four years after 166 people were killed in a three-day rampage through India’s financial capital.

Pakistan-born Mohammed Kasab was hanged at Yerwada jail in Pune in the western state of Maharashtra after President Pranab Mukherjee rejected his pleas for mercy earlier this month.

He was sentenced to death in May 2010 after he was found guilty of a string of charges, including waging war against India, murder and terrorist acts.

    Hats Off

His sister and brother-in-law were killed in the Mumbai terror attack but actor Ashish Chowdhry is not rejoicing over hanging of Ajmal Amir Kasab who he says was “brainwashed” and “driven to kill in the name of god”.

“Why should I rejoice Kasab’s death? I will rejoice when little innocent children will stop being taught to kill in the name of god and religion. Ignorance gave different faces to god, who in my view is one. Hence, religion too is one and that religion is humanity. Kasab was not taught that.I sympathise with Kasab. He also was once a small innocent baby, like my son. But unfortunately born around wrong people and wrong teachings.I’m sure as a little baby, Kasab didn’t plan his outcome. He was brainwashed, driven to kill in the name of god. He didn’t know he was wrong. I will not teach my children to rejoice anyone’s death – be it Kasab. They will learn to be non-vindictive, non-fanatical and will love all. I’m not saying that I defend the consequence he faced.I just feel that rejoicing, or feeling completion doesn’t make sense. There’s more to it. In these four years of awaiting and looking upon Kasab’s sentence, I can bet lakhs of new Kasab’s were born. Problem lies there. Rejoice when that stops” Ashish tweeted.

I don’t agree with his “Problem lies there” statement though. Peace !!!

Wrong! India respects the religious affiliation of a person in such matters. He has been buried inside Pune prison after graveyards of Mumbai refused to accept his dead body for burial on their property.

But the monster is now out of control, with the Pakistani nation doing nothing more then being a spectator….security agencies in Pakistan who once use to train these guys with support of US for Kashmir and Afghanistan are out in hiding, and avoiding.

With no national unity against these extremist/militant outfit….unfortunately Pakistan and Islam will remain tagged to ‘Extremist/ terrorist’ label….and lets accept the fact the the world is not wrong in putting this label…..

Today Muslim are much more safer in non Muslim countries then they are in countries that call them self a Islamic state….thanks to no one but other so called Muslims who want to entrust their ideology / version of Islam on the rest.

Pakistan will break if the people living in this country don’t come to gather and fight this out. No one will help us, so time to help our self. Else lets get ready to rename Pakistan as talibanistan as now nothing Pak left in this country.

TTP and LeT have genuine grievance against infidel India, who have executed the Hero of Pakistan, now Shaheed Ajmal Kasab, who would have been an invaluable asset for Pakistani army and all faithful jihadis of Islam.

India is guilty of the crime of delaying Shaheed Kasab’s arrival in Jannat by as much as four years, when the infidel Indians knew very well that he, along with Nine other brave jihadis, was sent to Mumbai in 2008 with fully paid tickets to Jannat. This delay of 4 years is unpardonable as per Islamic laws, and India will have to pay for it.

@DevilHunterX who writes “Now how about hanging some of those India state sponsored terrorists in Kashmir & Assam?”

You know?!!! Good suggestion. Indian government should take Devil Hunter’s suggestions very seriously and hang separatist terrorists of Kashmir and Illegal Islamic immigrants of Bangladesh in Assam.

Muslims from India’s neighborhood not only kill each other with impunity, they bring enough miseries to secular India.

Why do I see that Muslims can accept anything in the name of religion and likewise repel any sane deeds in the name of religion….

Now, I do not refer to all of the Muslim community…. there are insane people in all religions…. but then the percentage of people believing in Islamic ‘brotherhood’ is very high…

If Islamic brotherhood is so strong then why Saudi, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Oman Kuwait, Egypt…..etc. Cant you just have one large brother hood country.

Get over this habit of viweing everyting frm the eyes of religion….

Its absurd to relate TTP with LeT in a single news.

LeT are suppourting jihadis who are fighting with Kashmiri freedom fighters for the rightful self-determination of Indian held Kashmir comprises majority of muslims.

TTP are on another hand are making havoc in Pakistan exclusively in Swat, Waziristan and Karachi now a days. TTP has attacked Pakistani Naval Base, Karachi, GHQ Rawalpindi, P.O.F Wah Cantonment and Kamra Air base. Their attacks were purely anti-state and the prime targets were survelliance air crafts which are only useful against Indian Air force or Naval Ship detection and Pakistani’s intelligence have credible details of Indian/US clear support to TTP with them,

Its literally redicilous to get both opposite parties linked together and here ET must provide the onus of the credibility of this news which many wise people severely doubt.

Proof that LeT wants to bring India and Pakistan to a state of war. If LeT are Muslim they should remember that killing one soul without just cause is like killing the entire humanity. How many people Kasab killed and what was their guilt?

Really?!!! The world says LeT is a terrorist organization who are killing innocent Hindus in Kashmir and elsewhere in India. TTP on the other hand is a group of freedom fighters who are rightfully fighting for Shariat in Pakistan. They want to eliminate the corrupt government and corrupt army of Pakistan and bring in the pure bliss of Shariat. First by eliminating all new technology and western education and then by taking Pakistan to 15th century Arabia. It’s their right.

Taliban have full ability and strength yet to do any activities in any forms and manifestations any time because Taliban’s backbone has been broken only in the documents by the US’ and Pakistani officials and in the real the facts are opposite and against the ground realities and Taliban have been reunited once again.

it is strange that your prayer recommends/ wishes entry in paradise for a Muslim only irrespective of him being a mass murder .

I remember an article wherein high school students in a Pakistani city were asked to answer that will Mother Teresa will gain entry in Paradise and all the answers were in negative.and the reason given( by almost all) was that she was not a Muslim .
Now I can assume that basically it is not your fault. it lies elsewhere.

taught us to kill innocent people

In every single instance muslim armies declared war, it was largely unilateral and due to the simple fact that the other side were non-muslims (khafirs). And this holds true especially for the time period of Prophet Mohammed and the four righteously guided Caliphs.

I know that this is off-topic but, please get your historical facts right.
