KARACHI: Opener Musawwir Hussain scored an unbeaten ton and took three wickets to guide Sakhi Hassan Gymkhana to a seven-wicket win against City Gymkhana in their Daud Khan Memorial Cricket Tournament. Batting first, City Gymkhana were bowled out for 192 in 40 overs as Fawad Ghafoor top-scored with 61, while Muhammad Arsalan made 43. In reply, Musawwir scored an unbeaten 133 that included 12 fours and two sixes to help his side to 193 for three off just 17.4 overs. Walid Raza picked up two wickets. In another match, Taimuria Sports defeated Unity Gymkhana by 96 runs at the New United ground. Haseeb Khan and Muhammad Shahrukh made half-centuries as Taimuria were all out for 271 in 40 overs. In reply, Unity Gymkhana could only manage 175 in 20.1 overs.
