Annual Awards: UAF hosts ceremony for high school

Headmistress Tsays 137 students had appeared in the grade 8 exams in 2012.

FAISALABAD: The annual prize distribution of the Laboratory Girls High School of the University of Agriculture (UAF) was held on Saturday at Iqbal Auditorium. UAF Vice Chancellor Professor Iqrar Ahmad Khan was the chief guest. Professor Dr Tanvir Ali of the Institute of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development was the guest of honour. Khan gave awards to position holders and also announced cash prizes for them. He congratulated the students and

the administration for their good performance. Dr Ali said the UAF managements’ intervention had helped improve the performance of students.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmistress Tasneem Zubair said 137 students had appeared in the grade 8 exams in 2012. She said 125 of these students receiv A+ and A grades.
