CHINIOT:

A man’s genitals were cut off by unidentified people apparently over an affair.

Chiniot police said that Ali*, a resident of Mauza Hadsadiu, received a call on his mobile phone asking him to come out to the road in front of his house. When he went out to see who the caller was, they said, two men on a motorbike caught him and took him away. They said he was taken to an unidentified place, where he was injected with a sedative. They then cut off his genitals and later abandoned him on the road in his neighbourhood. Some passers-by informed his family and took him to District Headquarters Hospital, Chiniot, from where he was transferred to Allied Hospital in Faisalabad.

Doctors treating him said that they had never seen such a strange case. They said he required surgery. They, however, gave him initial medical help and said that his condition was out of danger.

Ali later told the police that he had an affair with a girl in the locality. He said he had earlier received threatening calls from some men, but he never took them seriously.

I don't know who chooses the pictures you post with the stories, but this one can't be very flattering to the victim in this case. May I suggest a photo of hedge clippers for the next genital mutilation article?
