ISLAMABAD: With great enthusiasm, the Beaconhouse Model United Nations (Intra-BMUN) 2012 started at Beaconhouse Margalla Campus on Friday. Students from all branches of Beaconhouse School System were given a warm welcome by the host team, who had arranged some ‘break the ice’ activities; 80 teams are participating. The event was a laid back prelude to the next two days, where participants will deliberate issues of local as well as global importance and pass resolutions. The teams then represented their allotted in the global village, showcasing the culture and social dynamics of countries. The formal debate rounds will begin on Saturday (today).
