Earthquake: Karachi shook again

The quake measuring 2.2 on the Richter jolted areas as far as Malir Khokhrapar.

KARACHI: Some parts of Karachi felt tremors as an earthquake measuring 2.2 on the Richter scale struck the coastal city on Thursday night, Express News reported.

Chief Metrologist Karachi, Tausif Alam said that the diameter of the tremor was limited to 10 kilometer radius.

The tremors were felt by residents in Korangi, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Defence, Ibrahim Haideri, Qayyumabad, and Malir Khokhrapar.

A mild tremor was felt last week. However it was only felt by residents of Clifton and Defence.
