Target Killing: Police official gunned down
A Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was shot dead by unknown assailants in Zarghonabad, a suburb of Quetta.

A Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was shot dead by unknown assailants in Zarghonabad, a suburb of Quetta, on Thursday night. According to police, ASI Ghulam Abbas was targeted near his residence in Zarghonabad. The attackers fled on a motorbike after committing the crime. Police rushed to the spot after the incident and took the dead body to a state-run hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. Police have launched a manhunt in the area and started investigations.
