Technology: PTCL launches first 3G tablet

The 3G EVO Tab is a 7-inch touch screen tablet that offers wireless broadband internet

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced the launch of the country’s first 3G enabled tablet with built-in EVO Wireless Broadband, in a press release on Friday. The 3G EVO Tab is a 7-inch touch screen tablet that offers wireless broadband internet in more than 100 cities in the country. Powered by the Google Android, the Tab offers support for both 3G and wi-fi connectivity. With a 12-month contract, customers can get EVO Tab for Rs32,000. EVO Tab also offers packages based on three-month and six-month contracts at Rs28,000 and Rs30,000 respectively. PRESS RELEASE
