Jennifer Aniston is in a happy place in her life. The 42-year-old “Friends” star still looks fabulous and appears contented in her relationship with actor Justin Theroux.
But how does the blonde bombshell keep herself fit and make her relationship work? Aniston confesses about being disciplined about her eating habits; she remains slender by avoiding junk food and following a healthy diet. “I’ve never been a fanatic when it comes to what I eat. I’ve always discovered that I can stay fit by avoiding junk foods and eating healthily, while running or exercising regularly. I don’t have any formula,” the starlet said.
Her favourite exercise is yoga and she works out every day because she feels more energetic after working out.” I love to do yoga. I have more energy if I can workout for 20 minutes every day. If I exercise enough I can eat what I want and not worry about my weight or how I look. The important thing is to stick to a healthy routine. I feel better after a good workout and it gives you more energy for the entire day,” she added.
And while regular yoga is Aniston’s key to physical fitness, honesty is what apparently keeps her relationship healthy. The actor, who is currently dating actor Justin Theroux, emphasises the importance of talking openly and honestly to one’s partner for lasting love.
“You need to talk to each other and you have to say what you want,” she explains. “You don’t confront your man about things which you’re not happy about; you approach it in a much more constructive way. You never want to be in an adversarial situation where it’s you versus him.”
Aniston also explains how she keeps herself optimistic about life.
The Hollywood actor, who was previously married to actor Brad Pitt, insists she does not “waste time being negative”.
“It’s important to live openly and with hope; I try to be open and look forward to tomorrow. I consider myself a very optimistic and positive person,” she said.
“It’s so easy to find things to worry about or complain about and I’ve learnt over the years that you don’t need to waste time being negative,” the starlet stressed.
