Prize Distribution: 1,878 students awarded scholarships

The students were also given books, school bags, calculators, uniforms and other necessary material.

PESHAWAR: The government awarded more than 1,800 scholarships to students in Lower Dir on Wednesday. According to Malakand Development Programme spokesperson, 1,878 students from 106 schools who belong to Zem Dara, Lal Qila, Bagh and Haya Serai were awarded scholarships for showing outstanding performance in their academics. The awards were given during a prize distribution ceremony. The students were also given books, school bags, calculators, uniforms, geometry boxes, shawls, purses, footballs and key chains. DCO Imran Zeb, Commander Militiary Operations, Colonel Amir and EDO Education distributed the prizes to students.
