TOBA TEK SINGH:

The family of Mohammad Fahim, who was killed by CIA contractor Raymond Davis in January, has been found living in a posh area in Toba Tek Singh.

Fahim’s father Rana Shamshad and two of his brothers Jamshed and Akram are residing in Toba Tek Singh.

The family, which moved to Toba Tek Singh nine days ago, was previously believed to be living in Pir Mahal. “Reports of our disappearance were false,” said Shamshad.

Shamshad said the family had known that they would not be able to take on the US, which is why they decided to accept Rs100 million as Diyat and let go of the matter.

Fahim’s brother Jamshed said that when the transaction was done, only Davis and the family were present in the courtroom. “We signed all the papers. The lawyer was not present,” he said.
