Surveillance: CCTV cameras to be installed

Police signs accord with private firm to install surveillance cameras in select locations in the city.

KARACHI: In order to help fight crime more effectively, the police signed an accord with a private firm to install surveillance cameras in select locations in the city. An agreement was signed by Sindh Police Inspector-General Fayaz Ahmed Leghari and the country manager of Getronics, Faisal Rao.

According to the agreement, the cameras will be installed within seven months.
