KHAIRPUR: A man was killed and three others injured in a road accident near Gambat on Tuesday. A motorcycle rickshaw carrying students to their school collided with a truck on National Highway near Gambat. As a result, the rickshaw driver, identified as Ameer Bux Channa, died on the spot while three children, identified as Zain Ali, 12, Sajid Ali, 9 and Shasuddin Rajper, 8, were injured. The body and injured were shifted to Gambat hospital and, after completion of medico-legal formalities, the body was handed over to the deceased's relatives. The police impounded the vehicle, while its driver managed to flee.
