Doctors absent: Dispensers check patients in Astore

GILGIT: Only three doctors were on duty to look after the Civil Hospital Astore and nursing assistants and dispensers were checking the patients when a district administration team came for inspection along with the representative of the civil society. DC Astore Rehman Shah along with DHO Health Muhammad Ishaq Khan on Monday visited the hospital checked the attendance of doctors and paramedics in emergency ward and inquired about the provision of medicines to the patients there. Astore Action Committee Chairman Mehboob Ali, Lawyers Forum Astore President Sher Ahmed were also present.
