Drone strike kills 10 in North Waziristan
Ten militants were killed and three injured in the suspected drone strike in North Waziristan on Sunday....
Drones have been frequently used by the US to carry out attacks in the northwestern parts of Pakistan.
WAZIRISTAN: Ten militants were killed and three injured in the suspected drone strike in North Waziristan on Sunday.
The number of killings was confirmed by AFP.
The drone targeted a house in the Anzarkas area in Datta Khel earlier this morning.
However, there are no reports of any leading militant commanders’ death in the drone attack.
The US has significantly increased drone strikes on North Waziristan this year, the last one was on Saturday that killed seven militants. Earlier, eight people were killed in the drone strike that hit the Khushali Toorkhel area in Miranshah on 26th of April.
