The jet-setting style star reveals her style secrets, wardrobe essentials, and some of her biggest fashion faux pas

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their anatomies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I would say I am curvy.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

It’s remained pretty much the same as I’ve always played sports, exercised and eat healthily. However, earlier I would fluctuate between skinny and chubby whereas now, I look more healthy and toned. For me, going to the gym and staying fit is my number one priority. It allows me to stay stylish and dress comfortably.

How has your style changed over the years?

Over the years I have developed a love for ripped jeans. Initially, I always preferred wearing flare pants and trousers.

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

My thighs! Which is why I usually stick to outfits that don’t make them seem too provocative, as my waist is extremely skinny.

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I usually go for ensembles that are fitted on top and looser at the bottom. So lots of jumpsuits, long dresses, high-waisted skirts and trousers can be found in my wardrobe. I find that high-waisted ensembles always work in my favour.

Which silhouettes suit your body the most?

My style is an expression of who I am and a reflection of my personality. I like accessories that aren’t the norm and often customise my accessories so that they are unique. I go for outfits that are bold and loud. I like mixing and matching old and new things. I also like combining classic attire with athleisure wear. Therefore, my style is comprised of bold, unique and elegant silhouettes.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

As long as you can pull something off, it is not a mistake in my books. But not dressing according to your body type, copying someone else’s style, and going for flashy labels, are things usually best to avoid.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I’m not the biggest fan of skinny jeans and fitted shirts, unless I’m really in the mood or in an environment where I won’t come across as provocative.
